Tutu Pele is in her house! Dwelling in Halemaumau, a crater within a larger Kilauea crater, on the slopes of Mauna Loa, on the big island of Hawai’i, the goddess of fire has mystified observers again. She can be seen dancing on the slopes above the coast of Puna, and expelling her fiery breath as her lava flows enter the ocean. At the same time, her breath may be seen expanding in growing plumes of smoke in Kilauea. Her dual presence is a sign that more unexpected changes will be witnessed in the near future, possibly in places that have not been touched in the recent past.
